Saturday spells T.E.A

first thing in the morning was to make tea, ya, tea, the most formal beverage that Chinese drunk in ancient time... now time is changed, as far as i know, fewer and fewer people in China make tea by themselves, at least most of my Chinese friends do, the tea culture is diminishing.

anyway, tea is a good thing for leisure hours, especially for those who need to be clear headed for their brainwork.

i don't like green tea at all and i guess most people in my hometown prefer black tea (Tieh-Kuan-Yin which is the most popular variety of oolong tea), the tea water in the glass is actually light brown.

Bus U82

it started with a terrific jam in the morning at around 9:00am, thanks to the jam which prevents the bus from 'moving' faster than me, i successful got on the bus in the last minute :D

at 4pm, i went to the pizza hut near mainblock. the staff there were kind of inefficient, because it took them 27 minutes to prepare the baked rice i ordered. During the period, i watched through the window and surprisingly found the interval of every bus U82 was much shorten than before.

later on i went to the nearest bus stop and heard 3 local people talking about the bus, as they didn't consistently speak one single language, i could only capture a few English keywords: PM says .... Rapid KL ...

I guess Rapid KL had did some reforms, to increase the number of buses on duty. Yes, the waiting time has been shorten and the bus is not as crowded as before. But, the extra buses they use are definately not brand new, must be those old repaired ones.

It's quite dangerous to take the unsafe buses, example: the metal connecting the seat was broken! Unfortunately i was sitting on this seat and didn't know that until the bus suddently stopped and both the seat and me were thrown forward! really, not kidding!

heavy rain

i was walking on the way to uptown 5 and suddently the rain became heavier and heavier, as it was not likely to stop in minutes I had to stop at the walkway outside a mobilephone shop. my phone camera can't capture the raindrop,  the rainwater was running along the gutter...

the rain relented, Ryan wanna to make a new hair style and we luckily found a hair salon that was open in this suck rainy day. it takes not much time, but his image does not changed much either... wow, look at the barber's 'weapon'~

dinner was at a tiny restaurant called Asian Food House, one of my Shanghai friend used to work there, they serve Taiwanese style noodle and pork rice, not cheap. some people may not feel comfortable with the high seasoned soup

it's rainy

the restaurant i often have dinner was close today, probably because it's rainy and few customers. the only restaurant that was open on my way home was named 'restoran wan shoon', they serve Cantonese and Hakka cuisine.
this is the up left side of the menu, I ordered set A, which includes:
the menu says this set is for 2-3 person, but I ate them all by myself in 25 min. the pork looks delicious taste just so so, however the ugly look dark tofu is surprisingly yummy!
sexy you can, pork~

not too bad

the first time i tried this loose looking food, it's quite friendly for those lazy bones that the only operation of 'cooking' is to boil the ingredient. what is it called? 猪肠粉?
After my 'favorite' law class (actually she didn't create difficulties for me and thanks to my friends' past year tutorial questions, we had a peaceful time :D ), two friends invited me to midvalley for movie!  How could i refuse, i mean it's been 3+ months since my last visit. one big problem was to decide where to have dinner before the movie, i think it's very necessary to register a trade mark called 'whatever' or 随便 , coz everytime someone ask where to eat, everybody got a unique answer 'whatever' 随便……

Young Entrepreneurs's Club

Correction: the market stalls are for a event held by Young Entrepreneurs's Club, the students are making their own money, not for assignment

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

it's all about commerce

The little 'parking lot'(it's for parking at most of the time) which infront of the entrance to college were occupied by market stalls today, it's all runned by students, maybe it's for their marketing assignment or something...

[AD] My friends were selling sandwich and egg tart there, i don't know how does the  sandwich taste like but the egg tart is surely not bad.

[AD] Ryan has 7 tickets for sloggi art for humanity swimwear party event at sunway lagoon, who wanna go?

Ryan says:

Yee says:

Ryan says:

Yee says:

Ryan says:

Yee says:

so i have to add that im a china born chinese

Ryan says:

Ryan says:

Yee says:
she spoke in english, but the key words are in malay

Ryan says:
so you dunno what the survey is about la?

Yee says:

Ryan says:
haha

FU-YOH!

"FU-YOH!" is a Malaysian slang, similar to 'Wow',' Yahoo~', no exact meaning.
Ryan says "FU-YOH!" is not Malay, neither is Cantonese or other dialect, maybe it's a creation of the Malaysian Malaysian >.<

She brings me bad luck

the only impressive thing today happened in law tutorial.  I'm so honest that I told the Indian lady she speaks too fast and no pause for us to write down notes. Then she was kinda furious and asked me if i had read the books, of course not! It sounds like an excuse, but i really tried my effect to find the textbook but can't get it, and the mysterious lecture notes was not there in elearning as she described.

I have underestimated her, my apology. As a reply to my stupid 'excuse', she gave me and other innocent and smart classmates a extra 30min lesson.

from all the subjects i hate most is LAW220

punjubi suit

This beautifully looking dress is called Punjubi Suit, Indian traditional clothes.
PS: U look really attractive, Ku~

After workout, Alex and i went to CIMB bank to check my card auto payment problem, it's not solved yet and the staff in the bank told me they already got 100 similar cases... then we went to a Malay restaurant next to Alimaju, orded this packed food named 'nasi lemak', taste OK

but im still hungry, so went to subway to have a formal dinner. This time i confirmed a sad news, the 10% discount to students is cancelled T.T When i tried to find an explanation from a male casher, he seems don't like to speak English and I have to assume he can't speak any language that i can understand...

Black Jack Tee

one of my scarce Tee, i just too poor to buy new ones :C

roasted pork

at somewhere near law yat. the pork price is increasing...

photos of yesterday

i went to mainblock
then had lunch at KFC. one of our Marketing lecturer said that KFC in Malaysia had a clearly segmentation - their major target customers are Malay. This conclusion is partly right, coz KFC here is quite different from China's. If KFC's target customers are for middle/upper class in China, I think their target are working class in Malaysia. Believe me, you won't find the comfortable and luxury feeling here.

a combo of KFC food.

everything sucks

I should know it's a sign to ..... in the morning, in a word, this Thursday could only be described as one of the darkness one in my life!

butterfly?
A big butterfly? below is a 50 cent coin.

After asking a friend from Eastern Malaysia, I finally confirmed that it's a moth not butterfly! But why some tropical insects are so huge?

Fitness first. Today they noticed their network system with banks can't automatically deduct my monthly membership payment from my bank card, which became a disaster to me...

secret place for lunch

it's been a time since my last time to college, not much changes as far as i could see.

one different thing i found is, many students buy fast food and eat in the college! while my friends took me to a secret food court in Wisma HP.

that was my lunch
